If you're a bit of an activewear and/or sneaker addict like me, then chances are a new ad from HelloFresh has piqued your interest – but not because you've been on the lookout for a new meal delivery service.

Featuring a woman in sportswear wheeling a trolley around the supermarket, the brand implores viewers to not "waste your time doing laps of the supermarket" in order to workout what's for dinner.

"Instead, get inspiration delivered with HelloFresh," it says.

And yet, I found myself (and judging by comments on social media I am not alone!) inspired to jump online and purchase a pair of the crisp white sneakers the model was wearing in the clip. But that, as it turned out, was harder than it looked!

Thus, ensued an investigation by any means necessary to answer this one simple question – Where are the sneakers in the HelloFresh ad from?!

It was a query echoed on the brand's YouTube page, with one person commenting on the clip: "What brand sneakers is she wearing?"

While another lamented: "I have searched high and low for this ad, just to try and find that answer myself! I took a still pic, then google lens search, and only found similar. EXPENSIVE. Still looking!"

Over on Instagram the spot got similar reactions.

"Please what brand are these sneakers I'm desperate to purchase them?" one person asked.

"I'm desperate to buy these sneakers! Love love love. I will sign up if you tell me where I can get theses sneakers from!!!" another tried to bargain.

Well, after some thorough digging (and a little help from the HelloFresh team) it turns out we have good and bad news.

The good news is – WE'VE FOUND THEM! The bad news, as of right now they are not exactly available. At least not in white.

The sneakers the model was wearing were from Zara, the brand tells us. They appear, however, to either be sold out or discontinued.

But then our resident 9Honey style guru pointed out that Zara, H&M, and Mango often carry similar styles. Which meant another quick search led to the discovery that you can buy the exact same shoes from H&M. But the Chunky Sneakers, which cost $69.99 are only available in three colours: dark beige, light beige, and beige. Sadly none of them white.

One person online came extremely close to finding the right shoes, sharing they thought they were these from Low Top Sneakers by Alexiis . But closer inspection proved they were indeed similar, but not exactly the same.

If you, like me are bummed the shoes are not available in white, there are a bunch of other options we've rounded up below to fill the chunky sneaker hole in your wardrobe.

Think of them as 'same, same, but different'. Or you can sit tight and see if the others make a potentially highly anticipated return.
